We believe expertise is not supposed to die in hard drives. To make it permanent. To hand it to the next person who needs it, in a form they can hold.

A book is the most permanent form we have.

For centuries, the book has been how serious people transfer serious knowledge across time. It outlives conferences. It outlives careers. It outlives us. A keynote ends when the lights come up. A book stays on a shelf for forty years and teaches people who were not yet born when it was written. That is not marketing. That is legacy physics.

And yet the people most qualified to write these books — the ones with two decades of hard-won insight, the ones whose clients quote them from memory — are precisely the people who will never find the time. Not because they are lazy. Because they are needed. Every time they reserve a Saturday to write, a crisis claims it. The book becomes the thing they carry and never finish.

We do not accept this trade.
